To achieve systemic, nationwide change, we advocate for government policies that impact people living in poverty and exclusion. We are a leading partner in the Forum for the Struggle Against Poverty, working to eliminate poverty and advance the right to live with dignity for all.
Our work is done in close partnership with people living in poverty, through the Activists’ Network for a Life of Dignity, inspired by the global Fourth World Movement.
We engage with the Knesset, government ministries, and local authorities to advance just policies in areas such as:
• Food security (in partnership with the Food Organizations Forum).
• Accessibility of services and rights (including digitization and improved government services).
• Public housing.
• Debt and financial justice.
• Workers’ rights.
We demand that the state assume responsibility—through budgets, legislation, action plans, and accountability—to ensure that all residents can exercise their social rights and live with dignity.
Our work includes drafting responses to policy proposals, writing position papers for Knesset committees, addressing government ministers, participating in parliamentary hearings, and collaborating with Knesset members across party lines.
